Waiting Kids

Sam

Sam is currently in the 5th grade.  He is a great kid that loves to eat and have fun!  He enjoys art and playing his drum, and he loves kites, puzzles and playing basketball and baseball.  Sam is not currently on an IEP and does average in school.  He would like to be a doctor or an astronaut.  He loves movies and roller coasters.

Sam has one prosthetic leg.  He is originally from Ethiopia and came to the United States in 2007.  He is excited about finding his forever home.

Madisyn

Seven year-old Madisyn loves to read, do arts and crafts, play games and watch movies. She is in 2nd grade and is academically on target. Madisyn likes to help around the house. She loves animals, especially horses. Madisyn struggles with food issues. She would do best in a family where she is the youngest or only child so that she does not have to compete for attention. She currently takes Resperidone and and a daily growth hormone injection.
