AAA does not discriminate against families of any age, health condition, sexual orientation or religious background. Foreign countries placing children for adoption have laws and regulations that may limit some families due to these criteria when adopting their orphan children. Birth mothers selecting a family may have specific requests regarding the family they choose for their placement.
Mail or email your application to us with two photos of your family and a check for $200. Your application will be reviewed within two business days.
You will receive an Adoption Agreement and appropriate paperwork by mail. You will be assigned a social worker to complete your adoption home study. You will have regularly scheduled appointments for home study interviews, adoption education and dossier preparation. AAA coordinates the variety of requirements that create the path to you child.
AAA staff, networking agency staff in other states and involved overseas staff will assist you throughout your adoption. You will have to complete an adoption education course as required by the State of Colorado. At the same time, your case manager will assist you with your dossier preparation in the event you are adopting internationally. AAA provides home study services in Colorado. AAA coordinates the variety of requirements that lead to a successful adoption.
In Colorado, every adoption requires a licensed child placement agency. Rarely does an adoption in Colorado require an attorney.
